Senior Field Service Technician: Washington
Lead Field Service Technicians are responsible for providing preventative maintenance, warranty, and repair services on electrical systems at the customers' location. Your job tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Delegating and overseeing all onsite work activity
Daily JSA, lockout, and test sheet review
Assisting others with high level technical tasks such as troubleshooting using wiring diagrams or electrical prints
OJT with techs of lesser skill sets
Reviewing job scopes
Crew assignments for jobs
Communication with the customer on any issues found as well as onsite progress
This position currently consists of 75% travel. We are growing our customer base in Washington, and this is where most of the work will be performed. We do not place employees in a location for more than 4 weeks at a time (most jobs are between 1-3 weeks), and there are significant travel perks and flexibility in scheduling and vacation. This position is not your normal 9-5/40-hour work week.
Job Summary
We favor applicants that have at least 2 years experience in a field dealing with 480V power, reading prints, electrical theory, power distribution, electrical testing or power generation. Some skills include but are not limited to:
Insulation resistance test with Megger
DLRO Test
Secondary Injection Test
Primary Injection Test
TTR Test on Transformer
Power Factor (Doble) test on transformer
Hi-Pot Test on MV breakers and contactors
Cable Testing
Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
Ability to pass a drug test at all times
Ability to pass background checks for government or private secure facilities
Physically fit enough to lift up to 50 lbs, carry equipment, kneel, climb, and walk long distances if needed
Basic computer skills that include email, Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Reader, Dropbox, etc.
Familiarity with all types of hand tools

Military Experience
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
Master Electrician's License
NETA Certificate (2 or higher)
NICET Certificate (2 or higher)
Familiarity with multiple types of electrical testing equipment and procedures
Journeyman or Master Electrician
Generator Mechanic
Naval Nuclear Power Training
Manufacturing or Data Facility Maintenance Technician
Power Generating Station Technician
