Field service technicians are responsible for providing preventative maintenance, warranty, and repair services on electrical systems at the customers' location. You will need to be able to work as a team as well as work on your own. We are looking for proactive employees who want to join a small company and help it grow. Data Collection Technicians are responsible for collecting data on electrical systems for engineering studies. Your job tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Delegating and overseeing all onsite work activity
Daily JSA and data collection sheet review
Interpret and update customer single lines per as found in the field.
Input data into data collection software for studies to be performed
Communication with the customer and engineer prior to going on site.
This position currently consists of 75% travel. We do not place employees in a location for more than 3 weeks at a time (most jobs are between 1-3 weeks), and there are significant travel perks and flexibility in scheduling and vacation.
Job Summary
Required Skills & Experience
Valid Driver's License
Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams.
Ability to pass a drug test at all times.
Ability to pass background checks for government or private secure facilities.
Physically fit enough to lift up to 50 lbs, carry equipment, kneel, climb, and walk long distances if needed.
Basic computer skills that include email, Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Reader, Dropbox, etc.
Familiarity with all types of hand tools
Leadership experience
For this position, although we do prefer employees have electrical experience, if you have a great work ethic and solid leadership skills, this could be a good fit for you. We are looking for individuals who want to take ownership over their projects and assist their peers in completing projects safely and on time.
